Being from Texas, having the name 'Spoon,' being somehow involved in The OC and supporting Grinspoon at the Regatta grounds in Hobart would normally sign the death knells (is that the expression?) of many a band. But not this Spoon. Since the release of 'Girls Can Tell' earlier this decade, these crafty indie poppers have just got better and better culminating in 2007's brilliant 'Ga Ga Ga Ga.' Very shortly the new 'Get Nuffin' EP will be released and here at North American Scum not only will we be playing a new track off that but we will be presenting our weekly Scum Sketch on these plucky Austinites.
We've also got some of the new project from Diplo and Switch, Major Lazer plus some Nosaj Thing, Yo La Tengo and much more so set your dial to Edge 99.3FM this Thursday. OR DIE.*
